Premium Spanish cosmetics brand coming to the Japanese market

July 02, 2008

Pola Orbis Holdings subsidiary Acro, has announced they will begin selling premium Spanish cosmetics brand Natura Bisse at department stores in Japan from this September. The brand deals in skin care products priced in the order of ¥10,000 to ¥50,000. In total 32 products will be sold, including beauty creams and lotions.

Pola's main area, door-to-door sales, has been sluggish lately, as such they are intending to use the new brand as leverage in order to intensify their sales presence in department stores.

In April Pola's subsidiary and Natura Bisse agreed on a contract to import and sell in the Japanese market. The premium beauty products will first be sold at the main location of the high-end department store Isetan in Shinjuku, and will soon be followed by expansion into other stores.
