New Boutique Hotel Brand to be Introduced to Japan

InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) has announced it will introduce its boutique hotel brand, Hotel Indigo, to Japan and the Asia pacific region in coming months. IHG currently operates 4 brands, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express already in 19 countries in the region, and is looking to add Hotel Indigo as a new type of offering.

Hotel Indigo properties are boutique hotels designed for "new generation" patrons, who cherish stylish, individualistic stay experiences in an un-haughty atmosphere.

New developments are planned for Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, and Tokyo. Additional properties could also follow in Sydney and Seoul. The Hotel Indigo brand currently operates in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
