New Prada Phone to Launch in Japan

NTT Docomo, LG Eletronics and Prada, announced the release of new a Silver Model Prada Phone strictly for the Japanese market on December 19, 2008.

The LG Prada Phone's liquid crystal touch display screen is 3x3 in. and features 400x240 QVGA pixel display. The phone itself features call, end call, cancel, and side keys only. All other keys and buttons are projected on the screen. To dial, users to merely touch numbers projected on the display screen.

The Prada Phone is also equipped with a 2.0 mega-pixel camera using a special lens produced by German designer Schneider Kreuznach, as well as an external micro SD memory card.

In addition to the iMode,and Chaku-uta/Chaku-uta full service, other features include an SD Audio music player, a full browser and a document viewer. In addition, users can choose from additional options such as the iMotion MPEG4/H263 video playback, FOMA high-speed HSDPA system, a music video channel and World Wing 3G features.

The LG Prada Silver has already hit the market in Europe, but within Asia the special model will be released solely in Japan. The phone also comes with an original leather case.
