Chopard Sponsored Mille Miglia in Japan

The Mille Migla began in northern Italy in 1927 as a 1000 mile long open road endurance race. The historic race is still loved by fans, and various related Mille Migla races and events such as the Rally Mille Miglia are still held every year.
Luxury watch dealer and jeweler Chopard, has long sponsored Mille Miglia related events and races. Chopard states it feels passionate about automobiles and the craftsmen who support them in the same way it is passionate about jewelry and watches.
A sister event to the Mille Miglia, "La Festa Mille Miglia", is now planned for October, 2009 as a classic car tour in Japan. Chopard is expected to be a key sponsor for the event which will provide Japanese car enthusiasts with an opportunity to view many classic Italian vehicles which are rarely seen in Japan. Those looking for enjoyment and a rare experience, as well as individuals who appreciate fine Italian craftsmanship are urged to attend the event.
